Rebuilding:
The first step of rebuilding a wall is to decide on the style and design of your the new wall. If you need inspiration you can take a look at our gallery or find more pictures on websites like Pinterest. There are three main things to think of when planning a wall. What are the dimensions? What type of bond? What type of pointing?
Bonding is the arrangement of bricks in a structure such as a wall or column, there are many different types of bonds. See list below*. Pointing is the term given to the finish that is between the bricks or stone used to build your house or wall. There is also many different types of pointing, depending on the finish you are looking for. See list below*.
The second step is a site visit. During this time we can take measurements, check foundations if needed and talk in more detail about your design and the building process. Once we have agreed on the style and design of your wall you will receive a quote within X amount of days.
The third step is to get the material on site and start building. Once we have agreed a start date, we will bring the material to the site or have them delivered depending on the scale of the job. We pride ourselves on working hard and delivering high quality work on time.
Repair:
If a section of your wall or pier is broken we can remove all damaged bricks and replace them with a reclaimed brick that is a perfect match. Get a quote here* If your pointing is damaged we can also remove and repoint your wall, see list of different pointing here*.
