The Brief
We were contacted by a contracts manager that we had worked with in the past, delivering a number of successful projects. He wanted us to build a large stable block in Windsor comprising of 6 stable boxes, feed/hay/bedding, rug room , water closet, tack and office and wash/solarium.
What We Did
We started the job in 2020, with all Covid precautions, staying next to the site in order to protect all involved. The stables were constructed of mystique bricks with 100mm internal concrete blocks. Off hand, there were approximately 13,500 bricks and 2,250 blocks.

Working closely with the main contractor and the client, the brick and blockwork was completed within 7 weeks, with every attention to detail met and approved by the proud owner. Daily meetings were a must and helped in delivering the acquired result.
There were a few feature details ; double bullnose brick on edge on all window cills.
The end result was an outstanding project by all and if I’m honest one of the most enjoyable and satisfying jobs of recent times.
